Dr. Fielding developed a passion for sports at a young age. Her years in competitive water-skiing sparked an interest in human movement and injury recovery. She was a pioneer of student athletic training at her high school and continued that training at The University of Texas.
After undergrad she completed her chiropractic education at University of Western States in Portland, OR. Family and the sunshine brought her back to Texas in 2019.
Dr. Fielding is trained in diversified and tool assisted chiropractic manipulation. She is certified in Rock Blade instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, Structural and Functional Movement Assessment, Rock Tape application, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization exercise and has her Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise certification. She also has training in TMJ pain and function issues and works frequently with foot pain. Quite literally, from head to toe you’ll be taken care of!

Dr. Michela Halma, D.C.
developed her passion for health and the human body as a competitive ski racer in the Canadian Rockies. She earned a Kinesiology degree from the University of Lethbridge and completed her Doctorate in Chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland.
After graduating from the D.C. program, Dr. Halma began her professional journey at a running-based clinic in Denver, where she honed her skills in sports rehabilitation and injury prevention. This experience deepened her understanding of biomechanics and the unique needs of athletes. She then transitioned to a general population clinic in Montana, where she expanded her focus to include a broader range of patients, offering care that addressed various health concerns and lifestyle challenges.
In her practice, Dr. Halma focuses on sports rehabilitation, pregnancy and post-natal care, headache treatment, neuromuscular rehabilitation and soft tissue treatments, tailoring her approach to each patient’s unique needs.
Outside work, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, daughter, and two dogs, reflecting her commitment to a balanced life. Dr. Halma looks forward to serving the Bastrop community with her chiropractic expertise, helping individuals lead healthier, more active lives.
